This is part of a larger event Promotion Package for Swift Creek's Disciple Now. Original Design is handling every type of promotion and design for the event. The theme for the event is "Identity," so we're going with a retro spy look. Here's a look at the shirt we just finished up:

Mentor-Up.net / WebStart Package

I just finished up a project for Mentor-Up.net a new mentor-matching website. The project included a logo for the website, as well as banners for both the men's and women's sections of the site. Here's a quick look...

Hickory Withe / D-Now Shirt

Got a frantic call last night from Daniel, the concerned Student Pastor at FBC Hickory Withe. He needed a shirt design within 24 hours for his upcoming Disciple Now and every door was being shut in his face. Ever since our days as colleagues, Daniel has been an admirer (maybe) of my work...so much so that, once he became a Student Pastor, he (with my approval) has continued to "borrow" my designs for his Student Ministry.

Anyway, I was glad I could help out. Here's the finished product. Start-to-finish: 3 hours.

Focus: Vintage Logo

Here's an update on an on-screen logo project for the University of Memphis Baptist Collegiate Ministry.

With the theme being "Vintage," they were looking for something "aged" and "rustic" and..well...vintage. They also asked that the design prominently feature a burning bush.

Here are the final four concepts:

 

Identity Brochure

This blog post will self-destruct in 2 minutes...

This brochure is part of a larger promotion package for an event for Swift Creek. This was a really fun project inspired by mid-century spy design (Get Smart, James Bond, etc.). The thumbprint within the logo works really well on two levels: 1) Fits with the whole espionage theme, and 2) Conveys meaning for the word "Identity."

Business Cards!

There's always overwhelming pressure on a designer when he has to design something for himself or his business. This pressure has always haunted me. However, it recently came to my attention that I was in desperate need of Original Design business cards. So I embarked on the treacherous design journey of creating a graphic designer's graphic design.

Working on an all-out promotional package for Swift Creek's Disciple Now in April. First up: the brochure.

Client's request: "I was thinking a fun, retro spy kinda thing with it..." Here's a rough idea for the cover of the promotional brochure.
